How To Run iPad Apps On iPhone and iPod touch [Video]

Posted: 25 Apr 2011 10:38 AM PDT

Ever wondered what it would be like to run your favorite iPad apps on your iPhone or iPod touch? Well now, that’s possible. ismoothproject has developed an Apple Script app that will allow you to run your purchased iPad apps, i repeat, purchased iPad apps, on your iPhone and iPod touch. Obviously, you’ll need to jailbreak your iPhone and iPod touch before you proceed with the steps required to run iPad apps.

The Apple Script app required for this is called iTelePad2Pod. It basically sends the .app file via SFTP to your iPhone or iPod touch which should have OpenSSH installed on it. Bear in mind that due to the colossal difference b/w the screen size of the iPhone and the iPad, not all apps would work as perfectly as you would want them to.

How To Run iPad Apps On iPhone and iPod touch

First, Download iTelePad2Pod.

Unzip the file.

Then move the extracted iTelePad2Pod folder to //Applications Folder on your Mac machine and run iTelePad2Pod from there.

Simply follow the onscreen instructions for the rest of the procedure.

The developer has made clear that he only does development on this kind, strictly on Mac only. So Windows users are not in luck if they want to run their iPad apps on iPhone and iPod touch. Get a Mac.
